MAUMEE RIVER TUBING DAY CHANGED!
Date has been changed to Monday, July 21 at 6pm. See you there!
LWY meets each Wednesday to study God's Word, to pray and to encourage one another in the faith. Living Word Youth is for youth grades 7-12. Group members serve, work on projects and enjoy fun outings throughout the year.
Living Word Youth meet at Mario and Lisa Dominguez' house each Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. unless a special event is planned elsewhere.
Any and all youth are welcome to come join us for an evening of water tubing fun down the Maumee River.Labels: Jr. High Events, lwy, Sr. High, Sr. High Events
I've had some asking me, "Where are we meeting at this week? I heard we were meeting at..., is that true?" Whelp, to help answer some of those questions I'll post the dates here for the month of July and August. You can also check out the LWY Calendar, and hard copies of July are available.
For the LWY, going to the nursing homes is an integral part of our ministry and God is causing us to grow. Praise the Lord! Due to this growth and a transition in youth leaders, we will both be expanding and have some switching in nursing home assignments for the youth. We assign youth by location in an effort to keep gas costs low and to minister in the local community. These changes will take place for our next nursing home night on Wednesday August 6, 2008. If you have questions as to which nursing home you are assigned to, please contact Hunter Turner at 419-329-1100.

This week the Sr. High will have their Open Topic Night. So, feel free to think of a couple of topics you would like to discuss. Then write them down, think about how God's Word addresses your questions, bring them, and then ask them.

Friday, July 25 till Sunday, July 27, the College/Sr. High will head north to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a great weekend outdoors where we will go camping, hiking, swimming, exploring, fishing, eating pasties and stew, take a boat cruise of the Pictured Rocks, and more. Our weekend will finish with our worshiping God together, which will be lead by some of the young men who will be joining us for the great northern adventure.
The Amazing Race will start this Saturday, June 21 at 9:30 A.M. at the Clark Home. Due to many youth being away on vacation, the Amazing Race has been opened to all Jr. High.
